Congrats to our Malaysian rep, Prem Kumar Arumugam, 33, an Executive - he walked away with a cool S$5,000 cash prize for being the last Malaysian contestant to drop out! He managed to put his hands on the prize for 33 hours during the challenge held at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza.

The overall winner is George Lee, 29, a civil servant from Singapore, who beat the record of last year's winner Sandra Yeow.

Crowned at 11.32 pm on 11 November, the 2008 champion has set a new Challenge record, with an official time of 81 hours and 32 minutes. This, after taking into consideration, the 46-minute rain break on Sunday.

Lee, who was immediately congratulated by his wife and baby daughter, walked away with a brand new Subaru Impreza WRX 2.5MT Hatchback worth S$80,000 as well as S$3,000 worth of petrol vouchers.
