Charice postpones her Malaysian gig

Yup, so the rumors were true - Charice is not coming to KL this weekend.

Pop singer Charice's Live in KL showcase, scheduled to be held at Dragonfly on 25 July has been postponed to a later date due to the fact that she has to make an urgent return to the United States for recording purposes.

[pssst... we think it's for the second season of Glee!]

In a statement released by Warner Music Malaysia today, they expressed their regret on the showcase cancellation and sincerely apologizes for all the inconvenience caused.

The label is also in the midst of doing all they can to get an official statement from Charice's management to let her fans know of her disappointment of not being able to visit Malaysia this Sunday.

Her management assured that Charice will do her utmost best to come back to Malaysia as soon as possible to reunite with her fans and media who have strongly supported her music all this while.

Charice also took to Twitter last night, tweeting: "Sorry for my Malaysian friends out there, I can't come this end of October cause of important schedules. But for sure, I'll be back in early NOV. :)"

Let's hope she will make it to our shores and experience her singing live!
